I made some maps today showing Toronto's cycling infrastructure and historical collisions with pedestrians and cyclists. I used open data from City of Toronto, Toronto PD, and ESRI for the basemap.

I don't think this is the final version so feedback is welcome! Is this sort of thing informative?

A map of Toronto's Eglinton-Lawrence political ward. Roads with cycling infrastructure are highlighted according to their relative safety. Vehicle collisions with pedestrians and cyclists are indicated on the map, according to year and whether the victim was injured or killed.

I made some changes to the cycling maps when I got home this morning. I think I like this format better. Plus the PDFs I exported are 1/10th the size on disk!
