It should also be politically winning moves to take the deliberate opposite actions and to not replicate any of steps, policies, or motivations that led to the creation of the US abomination of silicon valley when trying to assert our own digital sovereignty in UK/Europe. Now that we can see that their map/path inevitably leads to the oligarchic control of citizens and stripping of liberties, all enforced and enabled by a fascist government, it seems pretty obvious that the correct path is take the exact opposite one the US did. Anyone who suggests otherwise now that we have the answer key to the questions, "what will be the outcome of this policy", is not to be taken seriously and is purposefully pushing us in the same direction.

It's bizarre that letting someone who has publicly called for the government to be overthrown, after investing hundreds of billions of dollars in overthrowing an allied government, should even be considered for going anywhere near critical national infrastructure.

We need an "anti-#Thiel" strategy (anti- #monopolization) strategy that empowers #OpenSource, #OpenStandards and only accepts #MultiVendor & #MultiProvider solutions that are #FLOSS as well as #SelfHosting capable (both in terms of "reproduceable builds" & auditable code as well as "you can set it ou yourself" & no bullshit setup)…
- Because monopolization & #enshittification with #CCSS-#SaaS + #subscriptions is just bad and inherently #AntiUser and #AntiConsumer!
Instead #incentives must be set in terms of i.e. #EU-wide public funds for #DigitalInfrastructure that #rewards #FLOSS creation and enshures the #maintenance of said prijects.
- And if that means they gotta pay thousands or even a million people #FullTimeEquivalent #MinimumWage as per their #juristiction then so be it!
