In 2 years, despite #military #HighTech and a bloodbath among #Gaza 's civilian population, #Israel has failed to achieve most of its #war aims against #Iran 's proxy #Hamas ,while its secret services incredibly knew nothing on #October7 and still do not know where the remaining #hostages are. The #propaganda war has worldwide turned into a unique disaster in favor of Hamas. #Netanyahu is politically and morally responsible for all this, but – as unbelievable as it seems – he remains in office.
The Israeli #hostages are now released not because of #Netanyahu 's #policy, but in spite of it: on the one hand, under pressure from the #USA ,and on the other hand, mainly because #Hamas could negociate the release of many more #Palestinian #prisoners for 20 #hostages who are still alive but probably in very poor condition than it could for 20 corpses, and gain the possible #internationalization of #Gaza outside of #Israel 's control on top of it.
