On the subject of the alleged "Narco-terrorists" bombed by US Naval forces: since they were being tracked and observed, why didn't the U.S. government simply follow them until they reached U.S. soil, have them arrested, their boat confiscated, and the purported drugs displayed for all to see?

Würde man es tatsächlich halbieren, käme es wohl nicht zur Explosion, sondern lediglich zu einer Verdopplung des Lärms. Die linke Hemisphäre würde ununterbrochen Golf spielen wollen, während die rechte sich selbst Standing Ovations spendet. Statt nuklearer Energie entstünde eine endlose Feedbackschleife aus „Fake News!“, „Rigged!“ und Selbstbeweihräucherung.

Das eigentliche Risiko bestünde weniger im atomaren Super-GAU als in der ernüchternden Erkenntnis: Die Spaltung hat längst stattgefunden – zwischen Realität und Selbstbild.
