The hateful shit a lot of white people & some #BIPOC with unresolved internal #racism issues say to #activist #decolonial folks like me, about Palestine/Nepal/Sudan/Lebanon/Pakistan/etc is ignorant & often completely absurd, unbridled, #bigotry. It's like they chose to forget my family were #WarRefugees with family members who volunteered for #ResistanceArmy. That angers me. We are proud of our family members who sacrificed & joined the resistance.

#AssataShakur, a #BlackLiberation #activist who was given political asylum in #Cuba after her 1979 escape from a #US prison where she had been serving a life sentence for killing a police officer, has died, her daughter & the Cuban govt said.
Shakur, born Joanne Deborah Chesimard, died Thursday in Havana due to “health conditions & advanced age,” Cuba’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. Shakur’s daughter, Kakuya Shakur, also confirmed her mother’s death in a FB post.
