The open access flood gates appear to be well and truly open here now - #LeoExpress just announced its own Poland offer, set to launch March 2026. It's unsurprisingly rather more modest than RegioJet's plans - two pairs Prague-Kraków-Warsaw (one overnight) plus another terminating in Kraków (and yet another Kraków one on weekends). They were even bold enough to post expected timings.

Sorry, as a Canadian I just about spit out my teeth when I read that. Our rail systems are anything but efficient - they're essentially useless for passenger travel outside the Toronto-Montreal corridor, and freight is hideously slow. Low-value, high-mass goods like grain and potash that can't economically be sent by truck can wait weeks to months for transport to ports for shipping overseas, causing the shippers tremendous economic harms.
You're right about #MangoMussolini and his band of merry midwits, of course.
As much as I am a fan of #Amtrak (and all #ChooChooTrains) decades of under-funding and zero investment has left it in a laughably poor state compared to the gleaming, efficient #rail network of beautiful #Canada. And with #aGolfShitler now staining #TheWhiteHouse it is only going to get worse.
