We appreciate that certain politicians have recently admitted their naivete in entrusting the voices of their governments to corporate / for-profit social media.
To these politicians, we say: https://joinmastodon.org/hosting
but don't join mastodon-social or mstdn-social if you want to express anti-genocide views
they have a history of crushing anti-genocide voices, deleting posts, silencing accounts, using false reasons to censor criticism of Israel, even cancelling them without notice or explanation - and ignoring GDPR requests
BTW, new #Mastodon users coming in from #BlueSky, feel free to block self righteous assholes here that still refuse to acknowledge problems with poor design and how their HOA attitudes are still a turn off.
You can also more easily change Instances these days if the one you joined makes you feel like you have to walk on eggshells, & be sure to read the Instance’s rules first before joining them!
BTW, new #Mastodon users coming in from #BlueSky, feel free to block self righteous assholes here that still refuse to acknowledge problems with poor design and how their HOA attitudes are still a turn off.
