RIP.
"Dr Goodall died of natural causes while in California on a speaking tour of the US, according to a statement from the Jane Goodall Institute.
It said her discoveries "revolutionised science" and that she was "a tireless advocate for the protection and restoration of our natural world"."
Jane Goodall Institute France President Pierre Quintard pays tribute to the work and legacy of the legendary primatologist. In a final video posted before her death, Goodall told an audience: "Some of us could say 'Bonjour,' some of us could say 'Guten Morgen,' and so on, but I can say, 'Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo! That's 'good morning' in chimpanzee.'"
