Princess Arianrhod is a prominent figure in Welsh folklore, sister to the great wizard Gwydion. Though she is a human sorceress in the surviving medieval legends, it's likely that she was a goddess in the original version. As Arianrhod鈥檚 name means "Silver Wheel" and her two sons are respectively a great swimmer and a shapeshifter, she seems linked to the moon.
