Part of it was to create captive consumers for fossil fueled cars.

Part of it was to break unions, especially public sector unions.

The overlap between the narratives put out by Uber and the ones by Koch Network share a curious similarity.

@GottaLaff I find this hilarious. The whole point of U and L was: If we don't call it a taxi, we don't have to pay taxi driver wages, don't need livery registrations, don't need commercial insurance. Sorry, you guys a just taxis.
