Time and time again Trump's ICE goons have illegally and violently arrested citizens on questionable grounds leading to a large number of lawsuits.

So citizens have created an app to track where Trump sends his thugs, which has been downloaded more than a million times.

But in Tim Cook's fascist loving monopoly, there is no room for crowd sourcing that information via the App Store. So Apple has now removed the app.

Apple pulls US immigration official tracking apps

The creator of ICEBlock accuses the tech giant of "capitulating to an authoritarian regime" by removing his app.

Every time AAPL talks about how their technologies are sooo privacy protecting, remember China, UK, now this and let’s see what happens with the EU. Spoiler: they largely don’t care. If you file a 10-K, that’s really all that matters.

@randahl Apple may be soliciting the same reaction Disney experienced. Hope so.

@samueljohnson Apple is extremely difficult to get around for a lot of digital creatives thanks to politicians being asleep at the wheel for years.

I remember how the EU fought Microsoft's monopoly fiercely back in the day, but as soon as the EU politicians got their iPhones, Apple was treated like they did not represent the exact same monopoly problem. But they do.

@randahl It would be so wrong to order loads of stuff from Apple and finish the order with the Iceblock App and then when they tell you it’s not available…..

@randahl I don't get why people rely on the app stores for something that's bound to be controversial. I haven't seen the app, but as a developer I would be extremely surprised if it couldn't be achieved in a web app requiring nothing to be installed on the phone.

@randahl Shame on Apple. I suspect this would not have happened with Steve Jobs. Tim Cooks is only interested on money. Tim Greedy Cook

@thierry_van_kerm I would certainly have liked to see at least a court challenge of this, but no, Cook just cowers like a peasant before the Mad King.
