The article shows how the domination of this nationalist party over the secular camp translates the post-2013 regime's political project: the reaffirmation of the centre's domination over the periphery.

Generally speaking, it argues that failed transitions can provide the ruling elite with an opportunity to restructure social alliances along existing social cleavages, especially the core/periphery one. (2/2)
