@GottaLaff Don't mail your ballot. Use your county/municipal drop box or just vote the day of.

@GottaLaff Ballots will be mailed to all California registered voters on October 6.
Either mail them back right away or drop in a drop box starting October 7. I use the drop box because, to me, it feels more secure than the mail, and it's available 24/7.
Vote early in person if it's more convenient. Each county has its own rules. Contact your county election board.
Please, please, please do not wait until the last minute. Vote YES on Prop. 50!

@GottaLaff I can't say that I've seen an actual postmark on a letter in a very long time.

In my county (Santa Cruz) in California there are several non-postal drop-off points for ballots - there are two of 'em within five minutes of our house. We usually drop our ballots of at those and avoid the USPS entirely.
