There is no greater condemnation of Ivy League schools then this example of human waste. Somebody like him should never have been admitted much less graduated.
@GhostOnTheHalfShell @DemocracyMattersALot I was at Penn a few years after trump. Height of the antiwar and women’s movements, a few years after the Voting Rights Act. Wharton was not the selective powerhouse it is today; the kids I knew from there were not the brightest crayons in the box, but they were all incurious and smug. trump was a transfer student (easier to get in) and what he seems to have learned is how to be self-satisfied.
@GhostOnTheHalfShell @DemocracyMattersALot my best friend in college transferred to Yale from William & Mary (I stayed at W&M). She said Yale classes were much easier than W&M. We concluded that the Ivy League schools were full of rich kid slackers, and you were just paying way too much money for a mediocre education.
Yeah, I know a guy from very low income background who went to Harvard. His reaction is you have to greatly offend the teaching assistant to get a grade below C.
A lot of these in institution, the hurdle is getting in the education you get there won’t be very intensive

in his defense, my guess is he was so loaded during his student days he doesn't remember where or if he went to school
