@grep_harder You're right that the "friend in need" scam has been around for some time. What we’re seeing now, though, is that attackers are making these scams far more convincing by using AI-generated voices or messages that sound very real. That’s why many people unfortunately still fall for them. With our campaign we want to highlight the importance of taking a mindful pause before reacting – because even if the scam looks familiar, the way it’s delivered today can be much harder to spot.
