In the 90s I was the last generation of Poors to get a Maintenance grant, for the next 30 years the Poors were shit out of luck. And it was Blair's Labour that ended it. He also dragged his feet on Section 28 so that lasted into the 21st Century.
So this is good, but don't be patting Labour on the back for it, they're just fixing on of their mistakes from almost 30 years ago.

* Is this a (full or partial) overlap/replacement for the Maintenance loan (like it used to be until 2012)? Or...
* Is this additional money (like the current NHS Training bursary) on top of current ML?
* "Government Priorities" pricing poor people out of Arts and Humanities even more
* How shit is the idea of an International Student Levy given the levies they already face and how much universities have to rely on Int. Students due to decades of underfunding
