Do you think digital identification will stop at very basic data?
There isn't anything basic digital identification can do that we aren't already doing. It wouldn't be worth the extreme cost unless they plan to 'develop' it to have all your data.
Can you imagine turning up at A&E after a crash & not getting treatment before you paid as you can't show your digital id because your phone was destroyed in the crash?
