I went to a Catholic grade school (1-8) in the Midwest, and we were marched into church first thing every morning. In Minneapolis, a sadist shot up the school kids in church.

So why are they calling this a "school shooting" instead of a "church shooting"? or a "school/church shooting"? Would it be too much of a disconnect for all the red-hatted holy-roller gun-nuts? #minneapolis #guns#churchShooting#schoolShooting

A person answering the phone at #AnnunciationSchool said #students were being evacuated.

The pre-kindergarten through eighth grade school had an all-school Mass scheduled at 8:15 AM Wednesday morning, according to its website. Monday was the first day of school.

Local & state #police, federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms [#ATF] agents & other authorities were converged on the school.
