While #chatcontrol poses an existential threat to the Freiburg merlinux GmbH and distributing #deltachat apps from within the EU to all stores worldwide, it would resist any chatcontrol legislation up to the German constitutional and EuGH courts.

@matiu_bidule Googles planned restrictions on users abilities to install software is horrible. But it doesn't have much to do with the #deltachat app distribution, as the gmbh is already registered across many stores. We would like to see non-android/non-apple mobile efforts to florish. But let's not mix it too much with the issue of #chatcontrol even if it's true that enforcing chatcontrol would likely imply enforcing app distribution via google/apple eventually, and canceling e2ee apps.

Entwicklung aus Deutschland, standardmäßig E2E-verschlüsselt, mehrfach auditiert, basiert auf E-Mail-Infrastruktur, super-einfach (!) zu nutzen.

Bietet neben "normalem" Chat auch zB gemeinsam nutzbare Kalender (bestimmt nützlich für Familien), Umfragen, ToDo-/Einkaufslisten, kollaborative Dokumentenbearbeitung, Spiele, uvm.

@delta Your messenger is perfect, and I really like it. It works offline better than #Telegram, #WhatsApp, and #Simplex. It would be great to make it more user-friendly, as this would help make adoption easier for new users.
Do you have any plans to add mentions in group chats? And another useful feature would be the ability to send several photos in one click.
