Im an independent affiliate to a university. Submitted a paper to [redacted] on 02/5. It FINALLY reached 'under review' on 22/9. No notifications on progress. I approached journal editorial through the CMS (no response), then via email to main publisher editorial, who said theyd 'pass on my query to the journal ed team'. I again got no response.

These journals make ££$$€€€ off us. Demand our free PR, but treat us like ...
