I love exploring A bandoned Places, capturing their unusual beauty both digitally and with #filmphotography

My passion was sparked by a sunset exploration of an abandoned theme park in 2015. I share articles and photos from my adventures on my #website posts (375 so far) and social media.

My sea-themed offering for this week is this street scene from Whitstable.
Whitstable has been famous for its oysters since Roman times, but I have to confess to feeling there are cheaper ways to get a mouthful of slimy sea water. I'm really not a fan...

As mentioned in a post a couple of days ago, we've had a good year for figs here. Apparently, figs were one of the earliest plants to be cultivated by humans, and examples have been found dating to before 9000 BCE This was significantly before the earliest known domestication of wheat, barley and legumes.
