But life continues for those left behind; & we eventually departed to the four corners of Britain, leaving Mum until funeral arrangements are made.

Why am I relating this story?

Because I believe that incidents like this prove that, far from being a burden on society, the National Health Service is a huge asset to this country; & that every pound invested in the #NHS is an investment in the wellbeing of the people of England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland.
