so there's this #transphobe named #JesseSingal who joined and their account became the most blocked account on bluesky in 12 days

people demanded the account be nuked

but the true weirdness is how the CEO #JayGraber is having a bad reaction to the drama. some blithe emotional displacement with... waffles?

Jay, this stinks. We all know this is a reference to your post mocking another user earlier and platform owners mocking users
is terrible leadership.
Most of us came here because we want a site with good
stewardship that feels safe. The CEO dunking on people who annoy them is the opposite of that.

Since when has requesting mods to suspend an account been harassment?
At least on fediverse if there is a flurry of reports about an offensive account they take action not complain about it.
