I love #protests with #creativity. Especially when power was oppressive, people came up with disruptive ideas: the element of surprise, ridiculing those in power, hidden messages, beauty, fun or demonstrative vulnerability as a counter to violence. Legendary example: #flowerPower at the #Pentagon March against the Vietnam war in 1967.
The power of iconic photos.
#Portland now with naked bikers: https://www.koin.com/news/politics/emergency-world-naked-bike-ride-plans-underway-after-troops-deployed-to-portland/ Applause from the world and best wishes! 1/

2/2 Here you can see the most iconic photo from the 1967 Pentagon March with a young woman confronting the soldiers with a chrysantheme: https://www.magnumphotos.com/newsroom/politics/behind-the-image-protesting-vietnam-war-with-flower/ Then protesters started to put carnations into their rifles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flower_Power_(photograph)

The iconic images turned an improvisation into a sign of the times that became a model for many later actions.
