Sometimes a #nonprofit org will buy an ailing #newspaper to keep it from failing or being acquired by a for-profit corporation. -- See my old Twitter thread on a few examples:

But I haven't heard of an ailing newspaper being bought by a 𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆.
