The war is sucking resources out of FSB and the interior troops. Less ears and less batons vs a more and more frustrated set of regions.

i'm amazed we're all still around

with how many idiots and trigger happy assholes there were running around with primitive nuclear technology in the cold war

and of course, there were many close calls

@benroyce my crystal ball is very murky, but I think North Korea will be easier to manage than Russia. If nothing else, the population in Russia has more freedoms, which could make for a lousy return on their totalitarian investment.

But it's crazy how everyone knows at this point that Russia is becoming China's puppet state. Which is part of why I couldn't care less about who said what at the UN this week.

i've realized as of late that everyone knows russia is on a downward trajectory, and while breaking up is a possibility, it's a remote possibility

and i've come realize china will prop it up

why manage many new problematic north koreas when it can stage manage and fund one big one?
