According to a government statement, Slovenia has become the first EU country to impose a travel ban on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, following a July ban on two far-right Israeli cabinet ministers, all three wanted for genocide and war crimes in Gaza.
Slovenia, which recognized a Palestinian state last year, also imposed an arms embargo on Israel in August and banned imports of goods produced in illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
