This mushroom is so big it couldn’t even fit inside the frame. 😉 Anyway, the better to show off the shaggy texture of the mushroom cap: the large, light brown scales with white flesh showing in the cracks between them. My fingers are visible beneath the cap showing that, while the mushroom is large, it’s not quite the size of a galaxy or even a small mountain.
