28 August 1887 | German Jewish woman, Nanny Gutterman (nee Wangenheim), was born in Berlin. She emigrated to Belgium.

She was deported to #Auschwitz from Kazerne Dossin in Mechelen on 19 May 1944. She was murdered in a gas chamber after the arrival selection.

A sepia-toned portrait of an older woman with a calm expression, wearing a striped blouse with a small bow at the collar. Her hair is neatly styled, and she wears small earrings. Part of an official stamp overlaps the bottom-right corner of the photograph, suggesting it was used for identification purposes.
