#Botany#Australia friends of Mastodon, perhaps you can help me. Yesterday I ate this fruit from a street tree in QLD, because it smelled (and tasted) amazing, and the flower looked like lilly-pilly / Syzygium family, and it had the big single seed, so I guessed I wouldn't die. Um, what is it?
A hand holding a greenish yellow fruit. The brown seed inside the fruit. Long green leaves and thin, peeling, brown bark of the tree. Fluffy yellow flowers. Small green immature fruit. Yidinji country.
