My dumb old man's way of thinking:

Nigel (dumb shit, I'm one of the people) Farage is offering countries money to take immigrants from UK.

Other countries, if we send people to the UK, they will give us money to take the people back. Win, win for other countries.

Let's remember that immigrants/migrants are people, and one day, we might be in the same BOAT as them.
