Fighting Crime or Threatening Citizens?

ShareAn image of a map of the eastern United States showing six states discussed below in red.Six states with Republican governors have sent National Guard troops to Washington D.C., in response to Donald Trump’s request: Tennessee, Mississippi, Ohio, Louisiana, South Carolina, and West Virginia. All these red states have cities that have a higher homicide rate than Washington, D.C.Jackson, MS, has the highest homicide rate in the nation. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson represents Shreveport, LA, which has a higher homicide rate than D.C. This is not about fighting crime. It is about establishing a military presence to try to intimidate and dominate Americans in cities with Black Mayors and large Black populations. Trump is preparing to fight the real civil unrest that is certain to come as he pushes his far-right, racist, anti-American agenda. Share
