Palisades run/scramble always nice from ski area start, up thru it, then just outside N boundary, along Beartooth Front 2270m-2600m. Obscure narrow but maintained trail drops down to section of these amazing slabs. Old Limestone and very sharp. Fall on these cut you up, never see any climbers on them 馃槣, you would need Carhartt body suit and tough gloves. So many sharp edges. Relatively moist this cool N-face of the Front, 19C lite NE breeze. #climate #running #dogs #montana

steep drops both sides have to be real careful not to slip
they look soft from a distance but they are not smooth like Granite
