I am pondering where to publish the next version of my ice sheet and paleo topography reconstruction PaleoMIST. If I publish it in the fledgling diamond open access journal Geodynamica, will it get the same attention as the first version, published in Nature Communications? What do you think?
I definitely cannot afford to pay for gold open access. No publication payment for irregular employees at my university.
