Looking for software to clean up scanned documents. Mostly sheet music.
What my scanner produces: Everything is readable, including pencil annotations. I can see the exact fine structure of the paper, sometimes a bit of what's printed on the back. The PNGs are 20 MiB per page.
What I want: Mostly black and white, so that the files get smaller and I can do clean prints from the scanned PDF later. Ideally keep my annotations readable as well.
What should I use? (#Linux, Wine ok)
