It was horrible, like being in the soundtrack of a WW2 movie: howitzers, machine guns, explosions, …, for hours. The only new thing was the buzzing of drones. The Polish Embassy is only about 100 meters from me. I heard and felt whatever hit its roof. They’re saying it was a piece of a missile. That’s the second time this year that roof has sustained damage. This time, whatever hit it penetrated the roof and wound up in the kitchen. I keep wondering what’s going to happen if an embassy takes a direct hit, however “unintentional.” #StandWithUkraine

@randahl Just as fascists play the emotions of their supporters, fascists primarily also play to the emotions of their opponents. Rule by emotions, not ratio. Fascists are ultimate 'emo's', 'war drags'.
To be more precise, the goal of fascists is to instill fear in their opponents. Any discussion of fascism, its deeds or outcomes should reflect that the most important part is to not give in to fear.
Now this is easier said than done. And it sill is important not to loose sight if this.
It's all a calculation! A fallen soldier costs X amount. A wounded soldier also needs medical care, accommodation, and support. Statistically, this pattern continues, and now we come to the worst part: children tie up the most resources when it comes to medical care, accommodation, and support, followed by the elderly, then women. Putin is a heartless creature, and he wants to destroy, not only physically, but also financially. The cruelty of war reveals itself in many ways.
