NIGHT AND DAY is my favorite Cole Porter song. Rogers and Astaire dance it so splendidly.
also, y’all know the “jazz hands” joke, a reference to Bob Fosse’s coreography? after watching a few of her movies, i think we can confidently talk about “Ginger hands”; when she does slow turns but has to look up to the camera even if she isn’t looking at it.

The dialogues are absolutely delicious! To me it seems it was a time when writers assumed the audience was intelligent enough to get the witticism and innuendo in every sentence.
William Powell was also an absolute delight of elegant humor (he's one of my role model).
Someone mentioned the first 2 Thin Man, I also highly recommend Libeled Lady and My Man Godfrey.
