the writing is so good in this movie.

these #RogersAstaire movies were all about word plays and misunderstandings that hit you out of left field and make you laugh out loud for reals.

call me corny, but i enjoy these early 20th century comedies.

@blogdiva The constant game to evade the industry censors made them become very creative with their humour and resulted in so much sophistication. That's one of the things that made me fall in love with the old movies.

I watched them all in my 20s and 30s.
They're wonderful.
And the one with Rita Hayworth I love for ... reasons.
