@gleick A tyrant is planning to take over the third largest city in America by force if necessary and the man charged with preventing it; with authority granted by the IL constitution, the 2nd Amendment and IL voters, promised to file a lawsuit.

If the feds get in command of the state national guard, it will be up to them when/if it is given back.

He needs to activate the IL Guard right now, call for assistance from other states and prevent the Feds and US Army from invading his state. Anything less is a dereliction of his duty, and a real threat to the people of IL.
