Trump's "Secretary of War" proudly shares video of US military forces executing four suspected criminals in international waters.
This is the fourth time the Trump administration deliberately kills suspects of a crime without due process.
Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte did the same. He is now in custody of The International Criminal Court.
Pete Hegseth knows this, and I can assure you, the phrase "on President Trump's orders" was chosen carefully here.

I myself would love to see this entire administration in a defendants pen in court then led to the gallows without any delay.
Not only did they ruin this country with their blatantly illegal actions and extremist rhetoric, they did their best to ruin the world by reversing the climate change platform.
@ChrisHolladay Trump knows many feel that way. That is why he is so scared, and it is the reason he tried to get the generals to jump onboard the train to fascist town. But no one did. They just sat there in silence, and that says it all.

If he was that smart, he would understand that when it comes to things like ordering the deaths of civilians in international waters "I was just following orders" is not going to hold up.

Clear examples. From a country (USA) where the understanding of law & order differs significantly from that of the Europeans. Among the population and the authorities. Although I'm not entirely sure about the Europeans anymore (radical tendency).
Trump sees this as a 'Drug' War, an attack on country, population, and values. The choice of means and approach in the context of martial law.
Even if the criminals wouldn't hesitate other way around, the USA has other means of executive action
@randahl Trump will almost certainly be dead before he can answer for his many, many crimes. Unfortunately for Pete H. claiming to simply be following orders hasn’t been an effective defense for a long time.
Send him to Den Haag. They’ll sort him out and won’t drag their feet like the Biden administration did. They had 4 whole years to prevent this mess and couldn’t have failed the American people and the rest of the world more.
