Still awaiting official confirmation if any of the activists have been detained, but #Spain's Health Minister Monica Garcia posted:
“The detention of the #flotilla is yet another demonstration of #Israel's inhumanity & its determination to destroy the #Palestinian people.”
“We demand the immediate release of all those detained & that the international community act to stop the #genocide in #Gaza. #Netanyahu & his government must be held accountable. Enough with impunity!”
#Israel posted video of Navy calling flotilla
"The sole purpose of the *Hamas-Sumud flotilla* is provocation."
It included a video of an Israeli officer calling the flotilla.
She can be heard saying: "This is the Israeli Navy. You are approaching a blockaded zone. If you wish to deliver #aid to #Gaza, you may do so through the established channels. Please change your course toward the port of Ashdod where the aid will undergo a security inspection & then be transferred into the Gaza Strip."
