I knew it was going to turn into a hallway of mirrors. You see the antichrist… this thing that gets in an oblique reference in the Bible, and is only elaborated on outside of it is this, is a real thing because Bible.
In other words, the super rich guy who is heavily invested in AI totalitarianism perceives laws meant to prevent that as the antichrist
@benroyce his listeners need to be told some good old "that's exactly what the Antichrist would say" and they wouldn't know any better either cause they don't know how AI works
@benroyce anticrist. As an Argumente. For Technology.
Can we go back to 2020 it was such a chill and smooth year. With clever arguments. Miss it.
@benroyce I will call it a full blown bullllllllllshit
what else can one say
@benroyce "anything that might devalue my portfolio hastens the antichrist"
@benroyce sounds like he has Regulation Derangement Syndrome
@benroyce
That is extra weird to me, as my most religious grandparent is convinced that technology is the devil. I'm not sure he would win at convincing her otherwise.
@benroyce Stop trying to regulate the Antichrist.

@benroyce Oh yes, powerful, dangerous. But also, an idiot.
@DoomsdaysCW @benroyce My doctor’s clinic puts bar codes on all the blood draw samples.
@benroyce Also, I seem to remember some "Rapture" literature which indicated that the "Mark of the Beast" would be some sort of bar-code. Hmmmm...
